About LADYLIKES Comedy

LADYLIKES is my award-winning comedy duo which was co-founded with actor-writer Phoebe Batteson-Brown. In 2018 we joined the Prestigeous Soho Young Company, where we were nurtured on their comedy lab and then their Edinburgh Lab. In 2019 we took our debut show, Top Secret House Party! to the Brighton Fringe, before embarking on our first Edinburgh Fringe run where we received great reviews and were awarded a Soho Theatre transfer in November 2019. We are Funny Women Award Nominees and two time Leicester Square Sketch Off! semi-finalists....
During the pandemic we launched our first podcast, Sane Time, Sane Place where we invited notable guests to discuss how they stayed sane when life throws sh*t at them. We have just written our first radio pilot script Break(it)Down which we are now developing with Alternative Stories Podcasts.
Our award-winning short films been screened at various international film festivals. Both Millennial Meet Up and How Does The Make you Feel have been longlisted for The Funny Women Comedy Short Award and How Does That Make You Feel won the 2020 award for Best Dark Comedy at The Huston Comedy Film Festival. You can see our short films here
In 2021 we launched GAME FACE, our first series of workshops that explored creativity, confidence and connection through play. We are so excited to be partnering with VAULT Creative Arts at their brand-new venue, The Glitch to bring these workshops to the public. If you would like to book our workshop, drop us an email on ladylikescomedy@gmail.com
